About Us |
|
I am Nancy, co-owner of the centre and a regular TV. I feel so lucky to be able to dress as often as I do, I thought it only fair to let you special girls in on the chance too!!
The location is private and secluded. We are in 17 acres of grounds so you are welcome to arrive dressed and spend as much time as you wish en femme in total security.
Partners are welcome and discretion is assured so give us a call to discuss your requirements.
Read more below about how the centre was established.

Baptism by Fire! By Madame ‘Twas Hallow’een 1997 when I became the ambitious owner of a small piece of rural Devon with buildings crumbling back to the fourteenth century. My aim was to establish a small community, living and working together and learning to function democratically whilst providing a tranquil and flexible resource for guests who wished to pursue some aspect of their spiritual and/or personal development. (Interestingly, many of our more recent trans-gendered guests tell me that their being here fits into both categories!) Much sweat, tears and time, as well as laughter went into establishing both these aspects, with the former never becoming more than a short, desperate flourish before floundering and the latter evolving to where it is today with me, reborn as Madame, the matriarch. Rather a transformation you might rightly think! |

Establishing a Trans-Gendered Centre in the South West Meeting my husband, Nancy, along the way, it seemed that the next logical step would be to promote the Centre to the TG community. Moving south from Bristol, there are several meeting places around areas such as Exeter and Plymouth but apart from that, the only place to walk around dressed en femme without fear of ‘being read’ was Bideford on New Year’s Eve, and once a year is just not enough. We have therefore created a space for TG/TS girls to come along on their own, with partner or friend, to enjoy themselves in rural, private surroundings. Set in seventeen acres, including a grass circle surrounded by ancient trees and a bamboo grove (much used for photo sessions), it is the ideal place for a shy ‘new’ or ‘old’ girl to come out of their shell and go outside dressed for the first time. With an emphasis on acceptance and friendliness, we will always ensure that there are others around, in varying states of dress (!) to maximise the enjoyment of your stay. My team now comprises: Nancy sissy-maid, head cook and bottle washer (aka ‘Bob the Builder’); April sissy-maid and gardener; Yasmyn sissy-maid and odd-jobber, supported by several good TG friends. |

What the Retreat Centre Offers The Centre has an atmospheric function room complete with chandeliers, ideal for dancing and socialising, and recently used for a ballet lesson, but more about that later. To complement this, there is the cosy adjoining Oak Lounge with its roaring log burner. In total, there are nine bedrooms available. Each dressed in its own style. The specifications are subject to change as the place is always being upgraded. For your enjoyment, there is a small sauna and a meditation sanctuary, Cassie the retriever (not!), a couple of horses, four parrots, seventeen acres of land, maybe some fish in the lake and a partridge in a pear tree!! Sorry, got carried away there.
The centre has a lot to offer, but it was designed as a place for privacy and ‘Space-to-Be’ and not as a plush hotel. It is an ideal place for like-minded people to get together for a week-end, no matter what the theme. It could be someone’s birthday celebration, a ‘whodunit?’ or a group of girls into period costume. We only have one group here at a time, so if you hire the centre, you have exclusivity. Food can be provided for all tastes, and includes meat and fish since Nancy’s arrival for those more ‘normal’ amongst you. What is provided from our own organic vegetable garden is variable, but we make the most of the high quality produce available in this locality, even going down the road to catch the fish for your dinner! If you come on your own, or in a small group, dinner is to be leisurely had by candlelight round the rectory table in the oak-panelled Tudor room, close to Henry VIII’s coat of arms on the outside wall. For those of you into ‘the vibe’, or who just wish to de-stress or unwind, we also offer a number of therapies, including several types of massage, REIKI healing, yoga and even hypnotherapy. Obviously some of these have to be taken in a different state of dress to your intended attire! Additional services offered include: a CD of a photo shoot taken in different settings; maid training; counselling, especially useful for those who have yet to come to accept their alter ego. |
