St Trinian’s & Bow Belles Week-end

Eonist magazine (shown right)

Summary

 

Here are a few photographs of some of the costumes in evidence at the fancy dress and tea party during the St Trinians/Bow Belles week-end in October 2008. First of all we had Daisy as Alice in Wonderland to give a reading from her book.  There were lots of fabulous costumes – Little Miss Muffet, Little Red Riding Hood, even a naughty nun!  My personal favourite was Jean who was sporting a magnificent ball gown with a tulle skirt and all the trimmings.  She looked like Glenda (the good witch) from the Wizard of Oz. 

The costumes were fantastic, all swishing satin and rustling petticoats in an array of colours.  After all of that parading, the girls were only too eager to get some liquid refreshments and dance the night away.
